Batman Day
We agree with those who feel there is not enough time to celebrate fictional vigilantes. They dress up as flying creatures to fight crime. There is, however, a Batman Day every year.
Batman Day celebrates the anniversary of Batman’s first appearance. It was published in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939. Batman is now one of the most beloved and recognisable fictional characters in the world and has been featured on many television programs, animated cartoons and blockbusters.
