National Bike to Work Day

National Bike to Work Day

It is a common goal for people to say that they will do it every year.

Then comes the dreaded January 2.

There’s no reason for you to abandon your New Year’s resolutions! It’s May, but it doesn’t mean that the New Year is over. The weather is warming up and the rain has subsided, so now may be the right time to get out of the chair (or behind the wheel) and do something about it.

You can even achieve all your resolutions in one day with Bike to Work Day. Bike to Work Day reminds people that they don’t have to change their commute to get to work to achieve all of their goals. You’ll feel better and have a more positive outlook.

The League of American Bicyclists started Bike to Work Day in 1956 to promote cycling to work.
