It can be served with a scoop of ice cream, or generous amounts of whipped cream. This will elevate the dessert to a higher level of deliciousness.
What is a cherry turn? A cherry turnover is a pastry made by placing a cherry filling in a piece dough. The filling should not escape from the dough. You must then wrap the dough in a double layer. After you’ve done this, you can bake or deep fry the turnover. This will result in a flaky, golden crust and sweet, warm cherries. This is the ideal combination. Many people agree that tart cherries make the best pies. Because their juices are more compatible with sugar, tart cherries make the best pies.
Cherries have many nutritional benefits. Although the pastry and deep-frying are not good for you, you will still get nutrients. We all deserve a treat, don’t you think? Because they are anti-inflammatory, cherries can lower your risk of developing heart disease. Because of their antioxidants, cherries can protect cells against damage. As if that wasn’t enough, cherries can improve sleep quality and reduce the symptoms of arthritis and gout. They are also known to improve exercise recovery.
Although it’s difficult to pinpoint when the Turnover was first created, we know that they were first made in 1440. This was after a Roman edict prohibited bakers from baking cakes. They began making pies and then developed the turnover. The turnover was created by adding a filo pastry-like substance to the dough, which had been invented by the Romans. They have remained popular at roadside restaurants and family restaurants for decades. Cherry Turnover is proud to celebrate the best of these foods and encourages everyone to enjoy them!
