Our society was built on the hardy shoulders and determined personalities of farmers all over the globe. It only makes sense to celebrate their contributions and all they have done for us (and continue to do so). This is what National Farmers Day aims to do.

There are many ways to celebrate National Farmers Day. It all depends on where you live. You can even reenact ancient farming methods before electricity was invented. Local festivals may also be available. Or, city dwellers may choose to travel to the countryside to visit a farmer’s market. The fruits and vegetables you will find there are worth the effort.
