Many people consider breakfast to be the most important meal in the day. That’s why many people make it a habit of making sure they get up every morning and have a bowl of their favorite cereal. A cold bagel with cream cheese and cereal is better than nothing. If we are in a hurry we can grab a protein bar or one the many breakfast bars available to get us through the day.

National Hot Breakfast Month encourages people to get out of the cold and make hot breakfasts.

National Hot Breakfast Month was created to encourage people to eat a more substantial breakfast than just a bowl of cereal. It is important to eat breakfast every day. However, it is also important to take the time to prepare breakfast and then sit down to eat.

It’s more than just the food. While bacon and eggs are a great way to start the day, a warm English Muffin with butter and butter is a wonderful option.

Many of us grew-up with the aroma of hot breakfast sweeping through our homes. A hearty breakfast is what mom would send her children or husband to work each morning. It makes us feel more positive, helps us to focus better and allows us to get through lunch without feeling deprived. It improves brain function and education research shows that it can help students absorb information.

It’s easy, get up and prepare a hot breakfast. Even if you only have to eat a warm bowl of Cream of Wheat, butter, brown sugar and maple syrup, you will feel much better throughout the day! You don’t have to stop at a glass of orange juice, however!
