National Something On a Stick Day
We are not talking about mop or brooms, although we are grateful for them! National Something on a Stick Day celebrates foods that we love eating – even if they aren’t on a stick!
It’s hard to find a person who doesn’t like finger food you can grab by the stick and enjoy. You can indulge in any of these delicious treats: a toffee Apple, camp-fire sausages, cheese cubes on toothpicks, ice cream bars, lollipops, or other tasty goodies. You can also try the American favorite food on a stick, the corn dog.
How about planning a whole meal with a starter, main dish and dessert all on sticks! It’s easy, casual, and fun! There is very little cleanup afterwards. This is a great theme to use for a dinner party on Something on a Stick Day.
