National Working Parents Day
National Working Parents Day celebrates the amazing parents who work all year to support their families.
Parenting is hard work. It can be difficult to balance a job, care for children and a relationship. Parents work hard to provide for their children’s needs, including shelter, food, clothing, and luxury items.
Although it is not known where the National Working Parents Day originated, it seems plausible that it was started by an overworked and underappreciated father or mother seeking recognition for their efforts.
It doesn’t matter who or why it was created, this day is for parents to unwind, take a break from the work, and relax. This is also a day when children can show their appreciation and take over some of the household chores.
