Pretend To Be A Time Traveler Day

Pretend To Be A Time Traveler Day

Many scientists, historians, and sci-fi fans dream of being able to travel back in time to another era or age. We spend so much time hearing about the past, whether it’s one hundred, one thousand or one million years back, that many of the scientists, sci-fi enthusiasts, and historians would love to be able to see what was happening with our own eyes.

Have you ever wished that there would be someone who one day will wish they could have traveled to the present? How many people would you have liked to see life in 2015 if they were alive in the 18th century?

It’s time to think about the world differently if you haven’t done so before. This attitude will help you see the world from a new perspective and allow you to enjoy Pretend to Be A Time Traveler Day to its fullest.

The Koala Wallop Online Community created Pretend to Be a Time Traveler Day in 2007. However, the dream of one day when the human race can travel through time is far more ancient than that. This concept was first mentioned in mythology from ancient India.

One of the stories tells how the King Revaita journeys far to meet Brahma. He is surprised to discover how many years have passed since his brief absence. In the Talmud and in early Japanese stories, time travel is also mentioned.

Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, a story about Ebeneezer Scrooge who is transported backwards through time to see various events leads to him eventually changing his mind towards humanity.

The cult-favorite Back to the Future Trilogy, which was released just a few years ago, depicts the adventures and misfortunes of Marty McFly, an American teenager who travels into the future and the present to correct wrongs. Time travel has been a fascination for mankind for millennia.

The annual event combines elements from performance art, humor and pure fun to create an unforgettable experience. The day’s basic idea is to pretend you are a time traveler from the past or the future who somehow ends up in the present.

This role-play should be done with a group of friends, should be held in public places, and should include conversations between complete strangers for maximum impact. Get a few friends together and go out on the town. You should do what a time traveler might do. Ask strangers which year it is. Then, with a little curiosity and a bit of skittishness, look at everything you see with curious fascination.

There are so many possibilities, you should take this day to let yourself be amazed at all the things that you take for granted every single day. Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day is great fun and will make you appreciate all that you have in your life. What more can a tired time traveler need?
