The modern world is made of technology, software and computers. But behind every clever piece of software is a programmer and often teams of programmers, who solve problems using clever code, cloud security solutions and other intense development projects. This Programmers’ Day, spare a thought to these digital pioneers!
The 256th day is Programmers’ Day. This is because it is the most distinct values that can all be represented by an eight-bit byte and the lowest power of two, which is less than 365.
Many people celebrate this day on January 7, which is the original, but unofficial, date. The Russian government declared this day a professional holiday in 2009 and made it September 13th.
