Road Safety Week
Road Safety Week was established by Brake, a road safety charity in 1997 to increase awareness and promote safety on the roads.
There are many ways to get involved: nurseries, schools and youth clubs, army bases or army bases, community campaigners, employers, teachers …., driving instructors, paramedics, police officers, local authorities, firefighters, and even paramedics. We would love for you to join us in making a difference in road safety in your community!
Your involvement could be as simple as making the Brake Pledge and promoting it in your school/organization’s newsletter and putting up the posters from your action pack. You could also team up with other local organizations to promote safer road usage.
Brake could also be used to raise funds or donate money during the Week. Road Safety Week is your week. You can do whatever you want! We are constantly impressed by the innovative ideas that communities come up with in order to spread life-saving messages.
