Margaret is the author of the famous phrase “Beauty lies in the eye, of the beholder” in her book Molly Bawn. You can also use it to talk about the Duchess’s work. Her family included four daughters and two boys, and she also wrote newspaper articles. She was born in County Cork on 27 April 1855. After her husband died in 1876, The Duchess began to write more to support her daughters. In 1882, she remarried and had two children with her second husband. She later died from typhoid fever.
