World Spine Day

World Spine Day

One billion people suffer from spine pain worldwide. The largest cause of disability is caused by the spine. World Spine Day aims to encourage people to be kind and prevent spinal pain.

The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) created World Spine Day in 2008 to raise awareness about the importance of spinal health. The day’s campaign is designed to encourage governments, communities, and public health agencies to take action to address the issue of spinal pain.

Every year, World Spine Day celebrates a different theme. Past themes include Every Spine Counts (or Back 2 Back), Back on Track, Back on Track, Your Back in Action, and Back on Track.

World Spine Day has more than 800 supporters worldwide. Many people who suffer from pain and discomfort in their spines are frustrated by the lack of access to specialist spinal health care professionals.

World Spine Day allows individuals, community leaders, and health professionals around the globe to encourage healthier spines for children and adults.

You can participate in World Spine Day celebrations in a healthy way in many ways. These are some ideas to observe this important day.

If you are concerned about your spine’s health, it is worth speaking with a doctor. Chiropractors are able to diagnose the root cause of back pain and recommend the best treatment. Massage therapists are able to reduce back pain by relaxing stressed, tight muscles in the back.
